Natural Light Series

The Natural Light Series is the largest of my bodies of work. It is simply put an artist sketch. This series is an approach to the human form just like a figuring drawing study. It is about form, composition, and light. Inspirations range but I draw heavily from the works of Egon Schiele and Pablo Picasso. Distorting the body to take it away from the basic imagery we are so used to seeing when viewing the nude body.

“Drawing is the honesty of the art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad.” -Salvador Dali -

Studio 211 Series

The Studio 211 Series all began in my studio in Brooklyn, NY. My studio numbered 211. In this small space I was able to create different worlds of cinematic, erotic, emotion. With the help of friends and assistants I created the sets from scratch working with very small budgets to create fantasy locations. Sometimes less and sometimes more, much more. To find and end result that is a scene from a movie that has yet to be made.

“The mind loves the unknown. It loves images whose meaning is unknown, since the meaning of the mind itself is unknown.” - Rene Magritte -

Burlap Series

The Burlap Series is a body of work based on my love of the Pre Raphaelite painters. An ode through photography. The basics of lighting, form, and composition. Modernizing the idea with sleek oiled skin and placed always on a sheet of coarse burlap fabric. The body is the mood and the expression.

“If you want a happy ending , that depends, of course, on where you stop your story.” - Orson Welles -
